1. Leia atentamente a explicação do conteúdo e copie-a no caderno. Articles: são sempre usados diante de um substantivo (noun) e são divididos em Definite Article (THE) e Indefinite Articles  (A / AN).

O Definite Article (THE) é usado para nos referir a algo específico ou que já foi mencionado em um discurso anterior.

Ex: This is THE Atlantic Ocean.

Já os Indefinite Articles (A/AN) são usados quando nos referimos a algo em geral, não especificado no singular. O artigo indefinido (A)  é antes  de substantivos que inicia por consoante.  

Ex: A boy;     A cat.

 Já o artigo indefinido (AN) é usado antes de substantivo que inicia por vogal ou H mudo.

AN apple;     AN egg.

What are the Different Types of Swimming Sports?

There are various sports that involve the use of a pool, and many of them are quite competitive. Most of swimming sports incorporate the basics of swimming with some other aspect, requiring participants to follow different rules, or make certain movements while in the pool. Some of the most popular types of swimming sports include water polo, swimming, diving, and synchronized swimming. All of these swimming sports are included in the Olympic Games.

Water polo is a team sport, in which seven members from each team are in the pool at one time with the objective of scoring the highest number of goals. One member from each team is designated a goalkeeper, and all members wear swimming caps. This is one of the swimming sports that requires players to swim the majority of the time.
